Generally, no.
Waterproof motors rely on a sealing mechanism for waterproofing.
The various components of a waterproof motor, including the front and rear end covers and the outer casing, have a seamless structure. Static seals are installed between the mating surfaces of these components, including the mating surfaces between the front and rear end covers and the outer casing, between the wiring ports and the wiring terminals, and between the fastening bolts and bolt holes. A dynamic seal is installed between the motor shaft and the shaft hole. The outer surface components are made of corrosion-resistant materials or have an anti-corrosion layer. Because any gaps or channels that may exist between the inside and outside of the waterproof motor are blocked by the sealing mechanism, a reliable waterproof effect is achieved. Even with prolonged exposure to water, water will not enter the motor and cause short circuits. It also has a certain degree of explosion-proof performance.
The waterproof performance of geared motors can be customized without affecting the parameters.
The parameters, specifications, and performance requirements of these miniature geared motors are usually customized according to the customer's actual needs.
