Do you know what are the two types of miniature DC planetary gear motors? Miniature DC planetary gear motors are divided into brushed planetary gear motors, namely carbon brush gear motors and brushless planetary gear motors.

Brushed DC planetary gear motors are driven by carbon brushes and have a limited lifetime. When the carbon brush is used up, the service life will end. Generally, there are brush geared motors on the market with a service life of about 1000H, and of course some only have a few hundred hours.

Brushless DC planetary gear motor, compared with carbon brush motors, has a longer life and is not controlled by carbon brushes. The service life is at least 3000H. Because the brushless geared motor has a long life, low noise, and high torque, the price is higher, and the price of the brushed geared motor is higher, or even 2 times higher.

The characteristics of the miniature DC planetary gear motor: Compared with the same kind of ordinary gear physical box, it has the characteristics of stable transmission, large load capacity, large transmission ratio in a small space, and long life. Small size and beautiful appearance.

Planetary gearbox is an important part widely used in mechanical transmission. When a pair of gears mesh, due to the inevitable pitch and tooth profile errors, meshing shocks will occur during operation, which corresponds to the meshing frequency of the gears. Noise, friction noise is also generated due to the relative sliding between the tooth surfaces. Since gears are the basic components of gearbox transmission, reducing gear noise is necessary to control gearbox noise. Generally speaking, the main reasons for the noise of the gear system are as follows:

1. Gear design. Improper parameter selection, too small overlap, improper or no trimming of the tooth profile, unreasonable gearbox structure, etc. The surface roughness is too large.

2. Gear train and gearbox. Eccentric assembly, low contact accuracy, poor shaft parallelism, insufficient rigidity of the shaft, bearing, and support, low rotation accuracy of the bearing, and improper clearance.

3. Other input torques. Fluctuation of load torque, torsional vibration of shafting, balance of motor and other transmission pairs, etc.

Miniature DC planetary geared motors are widely used in office automation, smart home, production automation, medical equipment, financial machinery, game machines and other fields, such as hollow shutters, smart toilets, automatic clothes racks, power tools, automatic window machines, automatic curtains, glass Curtain wall, bank ATM machine, automatic banknote counter, automatic banknote vending machine, etc.
