Replenishment of water is generally a physiological requirement of living things. However, when using mechanical equipment, there is also a need for us to replenish water. When we use a DC motor, we should also add some water to it properly. Of course, this is done. The benefits are also obvious.
In order to make the energy of the supplementary water to the DC motor work effectively for the gas, the efficiency is increased, and the supplementary water should enter at the end of the work of the liquid to the gas, that is, at the highest point of the compression chamber, so that the unit obtains sufficient energy. You can start working again the next time you cycle. The purpose of this work is as follows:
(1) The loss of the liquid ring with the gas flowing out of the vent hole.
(2) Sealing the end face gap between the motor body and the impeller.
(3) The heat of compression generated by the discharge of the compressed gas.
(4) Cooling and lubricating parts such as packing and packing gland.
If the amount of supplementary water is large, too much water occupies a part of the gas space (it can also be considered as the increase of the thickness of the water ring), so that the gas volume and the exhaust pressure are lowered. Excessive water volume also increases power consumption, reduces efficiency, and produces noise and vibration. The operation of the DC motor is made unstable, and a large amount of water is pulsated from the vent hole periodically.
If the amount of replenishment water is small, the heat of compression in the DC motor cannot be sufficiently discharged, so that the temperature of the water ring and the upper gas rises, and the gas volume and the degree of vacuum decrease. If the amount of water is too small, the loss of the water ring will not be replenished, which not only further reduces the performance, but also stops working because the water ring cannot be formed. Through the above, we conclude that in order to improve the working efficiency of the DC motor, it is necessary to make up the water properly, not too much or too little.
Therefore, there is a certain standard for hydrating the DC motor, how much to make up, how to make up, and when to replenish it. It is not like this casually. The amount of water will affect the use of DC motor, so we must pay special attention.
