After installing the miniature worm gear reducer, it is necessary to perform a no-load test operation, which is an essential step, and the time is about 2 hours. When the worm gear reducer runs for about 2 hours, the worm gear reducer can be gradually loaded at 25%, 50% and 75% load until it runs at full load.
After the load test of the reducer is completed for a period of time, it is necessary to carefully check whether the fasteners of the machine are loose to ensure its safe transportation. Pay attention to the noise and heat dissipation of the reducer during the trial operation.
Check the use of oil and lubricants for the miniature worm gear reducer:
1. Check the lubricating oil level of the worm gear reducer and cut off its power supply to avoid electric shock and wait for the reducer to cool down.
2. Remove the oil level plug to see if there is oil overflow. Only after passing the inspection, can the oil level plug be installed.
3. Open the oil drain plug, take out the lubricant sample, and then check the viscosity index of the lubricant. If the lubricating oil is obviously dirty, it is recommended to replace the lubricating oil as soon as possible.
4. Regarding the worm gear reducer equipped with an oil level plug, unscrew the oil level plug, check the refueling height, and add lubricant if necessary.
5. After replacing the lubricating oil, the viscosity of the oil increases after cooling, and it is difficult to discharge the oil. Therefore, the worm gear reducer should be replaced at the working temperature.
Miniature worm gear reducer generally uses metal as the worm gear and harder steel as the worm, which can greatly improve the working efficiency of the worm gear reducer. Why the reducer leaks oil: Because the machine is a sliding friction drive, it will generate a lot of heat during operation. Due to the heat, the thermal expansion between the machine parts and the seals will be different, so there are gaps on each matching surface, so that the oil becomes thinner due to the high temperature, and leakage will occur?
How to deal with such leaks?
1. 220# gear oil is usually used for lubricating oil and additives. For the reducer with heavy load, frequent start and poor use environment, some lubricant additives can be selected so that the gear oil still adheres to the surface of the gear when the reducer stops. , To form a protective film to prevent direct contact with metal during heavy load, low speed, high torque and starting. The additives contain seal ring regulator and anti-leakage agent, which can keep the seal ring soft and elastic and effectively reduce the leakage of lubricating oil.
2. When removing and installing the reducer components, please try to avoid being hit by other tools such as hammers. When replacing gears and worm gears, please try to use the original accessories and paired replacements; when assembling the output shaft, pay attention to the tolerance fit; adhesive or erythras oil can protect the hollow shaft to prevent wear and rust or fouling in the mating area. And it is difficult to disassemble during maintenance.
