Precautions for Using a Coreless Brushless Motor
1. Installation and Fixing
- Avoid axial force; the housing should be fixed with an elastic buffer structure.
- The rotor and load must be strictly coaxial (radial deviation <0.05mm).
- Do not strike the rotor (magnets are easily broken).
2. Electrical Connection
- Must be matched with a dedicated driver (three-phase 120° conduction mode).
- Hall sensor wires must be shielded (UTP CAT5e network cable recommended).
- Operating voltage fluctuation range ±10% (e.g., 48V system should maintain 43.2-52.8V).
3. Operating Environment
- Operating temperature -20℃~+60℃ (derating is required above 50℃).
- Protection rating below IP54 is prohibited from operation under water exposure.
- Avoid environments with metallic dust (air gap is only 0.3-0.8mm).
4. Maintenance Points
- Check bearing clearance every 500 hours (axial clearance should be <0.1mm).
- Brushed motors require regular commutator cleaning (brushed motors do not).
- Do not disassemble the rotor assembly (this will result in a magnetic flux loss of over 15%).
5. Special Parameters
- Starting current can reach 3 times the rated value (soft-start function of the driver is required).
- Speed fluctuation rate <1% (photoelectric encoder feedback is required).
- Under continuous duty cycle S1, the load rate must not exceed 80%.
