Gear motors require an aluminum housing before operation to improve heat dissipation: During operation, the motor generates excessive heat due to high-speed rotation, which needs to be dissipated. Aluminum has excellent heat dissipation capabilities, therefore, gear motor manufacturers currently use aluminum housings.
Lighter Motor Weight: The light weight of aluminum reduces the overall weight of the machine. Easier Installation and Handling.
Installation and Operation: All machine operation and installation involve certain risks. What precautions should be taken when installing a gear motor? Before installation and testing, a power-on test must be performed to ensure it is safe to install before proceeding to the next steps.
During installation, the gear motor should be protected from impacts. When installing structural components on the gearbox output shaft, do not directly strike or press against it. Wiring must be straight and not bent, as this can affect the motor's internal connections and cause other problems.
Do not forcefully rotate the reducer from the output shaft end, otherwise it will damage the gears. When fixing the transmission components to the reducer output shaft with adhesive, do not stick the reducer bearings.
