1. Concept of reduction ratio:
It is the transmission ratio of the reduction device, which is a kind of transmission ratio. It refers to the ratio of the instantaneous input speed to the output speed in the reduction mechanism, represented by the symbol "i".
If the input speed is 1500r/min and the output speed is 25r/min, then the reduction ratio is: i=60:1.
The reduction ratio of general reduction mechanisms is marked as the actual reduction ratio, but some special reducers such as cycloid reducers or harmonic reducers are sometimes rounded up and the denominator is not required. For example, the actual reduction ratio may be 28.13, but it is generally marked as 28.
2. Calculation method of reduction ratio
1. Definition calculation method: reduction ratio = input speed ÷ output speed.
2. General calculation method: reduction ratio = use torque ÷ 9550 ÷ motor power × motor power input speed ÷ use coefficient.
3. Gear system calculation method: Reduction ratio = number of teeth of driven gear ÷ number of teeth of driving gear (if it is multi-stage gear reduction, then divide the number of teeth of driven gear of all meshing pairs of gear sets ÷ number of teeth of driving gear, and then multiply the results.
4. Belt, chain and friction wheel reduction ratio calculation method: Reduction ratio = driven wheel diameter ÷ driving wheel diameter.
3. Concept of motor torque: Motor torque is the output torque of the motor, which is one of the basic parameters of the motor. The unit is N.M (Newton meter).
4. Relationship between motor output torque and motor speed and power.
1. Formula: T=9550P/n This formula is a commonly used calculation formula for the relationship between torque, power and speed in engineering. In the formula: T--torque; 9550--constant (no need to investigate its source); P--motor power (KW); n--output speed (rpm) Note: It should be noted that when calculating torque through a reducer, the factor of gear transmission efficiency loss should be considered.
2. Servo motor torque calculation formula: T=F*R*reduction ratio. Example: driving an object of 100kg, R=50mm, reduction ratio: 1:50, what is the torque of the servo motor? Answer: 100x9.8 (gravitational acceleration) x0.05x0.02=1.98N.M
V. Reducer torque calculation formula
1. Speed ratio Speed ratio=motor output revolutions ÷ reducer output revolutions ("speed ratio" is also called "transmission ratio")
2. Knowing the motor power, speed ratio and use factor, calculate the reducer torque as follows: Reducer torque=9550×motor power ÷ motor power input revolutions × speed ratio × use factor
3. Knowing the torque, reducer output revolutions and use factor, calculate the motor power required for the reducer as follows: Motor power=torque ÷9550×motor power input revolutions ÷ speed ratio ÷ use factor
