The composition of stepping motor power supply and driver control part

The stepper motor has no strict requirements on the power supply and does not need to be stabilized. As long as the current requirements can be met, the transformers with similar voltages can be rectified and filtered.

Do not use a switching power supply for the power supply of the stepping motor, because the switching power supply has spike protection, and the stepping driver often has a spike phenomenon. The switching power supply is always reliable without a transformer and a rectifier circuit.

Part of the stepping motor drive control system. Generally, a stepper motor drive system consists of three parts: control circuit, drive circuit and stepper motor. Its main functions are as follows:

①Control circuit. Used to generate pulses to control the speed and direction of the motor.

②Drive circuit. That is, the research content of this article consists of the pulse signal distribution and power drive circuit shown in Figure 1. According to the pulse and direction signal input by the controller, it provides the correct energization sequence for the windings of the stepper motor, as well as the high voltage and large current required by the motor; at the same time, it provides various protection measures, such as overcurrent and overheating.

③Stepper motor. The control signal is amplified by the driver to drive the stepper motor to drive the load.
