A motor reducer mainly consists of four core component systems: power input, transmission reduction, support and fixing, and lubrication and sealing.

1. Power Input System

• Motor: Provides the initial power; common types include AC asynchronous motors, DC motors, servo motors, and stepper motors.

• Input Shaft: Connects to the motor output, transmitting power to the reduction mechanism.

2. Transmission Reduction System

• Gear Set: The core reduction component, mainly including:

- Cylindrical gears (parallel shaft transmission)

- Bevel gears (vertical shaft transmission)

- Worm gears (high speed ratio transmission)

- Planetary gears (high torque, compact design)

• Drive Shaft: Includes high-speed shaft, intermediate shaft, and low-speed output shaft.

• Bearings: Support rotating components; commonly used are deep groove ball bearings, tapered roller bearings, and thrust bearings.

3. Support and Fixing System

• Housing: Usually made of HT250 cast iron or aluminum alloy, supporting all internal components.

• End Covers: Seal the housing and support the bearings.

• 4. Lubrication and Sealing System

• Lubrication Device: Includes oil bath lubrication, forced lubrication system, and lubricating oil (220# gear oil is commonly used)

• Seals: Prevent lubricating oil leakage; commonly used are skeleton oil seals, labyrinth seals, and O-rings

• Breather: Balances the internal and external air pressure of the housing, preventing pressure buildup due to temperature rise.

5. Auxiliary Accessories

• Cooling Device: Air-cooled fan or water-cooled coil (for high-power models)

• Inspection Window: Used to check the oil level

• Drain Plug/Magnetic Plug: Used for changing lubricating oil and removing metal debris

• Nameplate: Indicates key parameters such as model, speed ratio, and rated torque.
