What are the differences in disassembling a brushless geared motor?

Besides handling it gently and avoiding brute force, the following points should be noted when disassembling a brushless geared motor:

a. First, disconnect the external wiring of the motor, making sure to mark it. Then, loosen the base screws and separate the motor from the transmission mechanism.

b. When disassembling the pulley and coupling on the motor shaft, sometimes it's necessary to add some kerosene to the gap between the pulley and the motor shaft to ensure proper lubrication and facilitate disassembly.

c. For some motors equipped with rolling bearings, first remove the bearing cover, then loosen the end cover's fastening screws. Mark the joint between the end cover and the motor housing. Then, screw the removed end cover's fastening screws into the two specially designed screw holes on the motor end cover, and then push the end cover out.

d. When disassembling a motor with brushes, first remove the brushes from their holders. For DC motors, mark the position of the brush neutral wire.

e. When removing the rotor, be extremely careful not to damage the stator coils. If the rotor is not very heavy, you can pull it out by hand. If it is heavy, use a lifting device to lift it out. Do not attempt to remove it manually, as this could easily lead to accidents or damage. In this case, first attach lifting wire ropes to both ends of the rotor shaft and use a lifting device to suspend the rotor. Then slowly remove it.
