Proper use and maintenance of a planetary gear reducer are crucial for ensuring the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing a planetary gear reducer, please strictly follow the relevant installation and usage instructions and assemble and use it carefully.
1. Before installation, ensure that the motor and reducer are in good condition and check that the dimensions of the connecting parts of the motor and reducer match, such as the locating boss of the motor, the input shaft, and the groove of the reducer.
2. Unscrew the screws on the outside of the reducer flange, align the PCS system clamping ring with the dust port, and insert the Allen wrench.
3. Connect the motor and reducer naturally. During connection, ensure that the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor are concentric and that their outer flanges are parallel. Inconsistency in concentricity can lead to motor shaft breakage or reducer gear wear. Furthermore, never use a hammer or other hammer to strike the reducer during installation to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearings or gears. Always tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the tightening bolts. Before installation, wipe off the rust-preventive oil from the motor input shaft, locating boss, and reducer connection points with gasoline or zinc-sodium solution. This is to ensure a tight connection, smooth operation, and prevent unnecessary wear. Before connecting the motor and reducer, ensure the motor shaft keyway is perpendicular to the tightening bolts. To ensure even force distribution, first screw on the mounting bolts at any diagonal position, but do not tighten them completely. Then screw on the other two diagonal mounting bolts, and finally tighten all four mounting bolts one by one.
