What does motor torque mean?

The motor torque is the output torque of the motor, which is one of the basic parameters of the motor. To put it simply, we often say the size of the motor force. Motor torque refers to the torque generated by the motor during operation, which is the ability of the motor to output torque. In layman's terms, torque is the ability to turn an object. The torque of the motor is directly proportional to the torque output by the motor, and is related to the power and speed of the motor.

Motor torque calculation formula: T=9550P/n, p is power, unit is kW, n is speed, unit is rev/min, r/min torque unit is Nm, denominator is rated speed n, unit is revolution per minute (r /min), P and n can be found directly from the motor nameplate. Since Pn is the rated value of the motor, T is the rated torque of the motor.

The torque output by the motor is related to the speed and power of the motor.

Where: r is the radius of the crankshaft

F is the force of the crankshaft to the load

The work done by 2πr*F crankshaft for one revolution

T=r*F

Note: It should be noted that if the torque is calculated through the reducer, the factor of gear transmission efficiency loss should be considered.
