I. Checking the Load Condition

2. Calculating Load Parameters: Confirm whether the actual load exceeds the motor's rated torque. If the overload is significant, the load needs to be reduced or a higher-power motor needs to be replaced.
II. Checking the Power Supply
1. Stabilizing Voltage Input: Use a voltmeter to test whether the power supply is stable. If the voltage fluctuation exceeds ±10%, it is recommended to install a voltage regulator to ensure power supply stability.
2. Checking for Phase Loss: Use a multimeter to check if any phase of the three-phase power supply is missing. A missing phase can cause abnormal motor torque and overheating, requiring timely repair or replacement of the wiring.
III. Motor and Gearbox Inspection
1. Motor Winding Inspection: Check the windings for short circuits or open circuits using an insulation resistance meter. If an internal fault is found, the motor needs to be replaced or returned to the factory for repair.
2. Gearbox Maintenance: Disassemble and inspect the gear wear. Replace severely worn gears. Check the lubricating oil level; add the same type of grease if insufficient.
IV. Optimize Control Parameters
For motors controlled by frequency converters, extend the acceleration/deceleration time in the operation panel to reduce start-stop shock. Simultaneously adjust the torque compensation parameters to avoid overload caused by excessive compensation values.
V. Add Protection Devices
Install a thermal relay or overcurrent protector in the circuit system, setting the threshold value slightly higher than the rated torque value. Automatic power-off protection will occur in case of overload.
VI. Enhance Heat Dissipation Management
Clean the accumulated dust from the motor heat sink and fan, ensuring unobstructed airflow. If the ambient temperature exceeds 40℃, an auxiliary cooling fan or external cooler can be installed for forced cooling.
