Transmission devices commonly used in industrial robots: bearings, gears, reducers, belt drives, cables
Bearing function: supporting mechanical rotating bodies to reduce the mechanical load friction coefficient of the equipment during the transmission process, affecting the robot's running stability, repeatability and motion accuracy.
Spur gears or helical gears: providing sealed, low-maintenance power transmission for robots, which are used in robot wrists;
Large-diameter turntable gears: used in the base joints of large robots to provide high stiffness to transmit high torque;
Dual gear drive: used to provide active preload, often used in large gantry robots and track robots;
Worm gear: used in low-speed robots or robot end effectors.
Planetary gears: reducing speed to increase torque and reduce the load/motor moment of inertia ratio, often used in transmission systems such as servo motors, stepper motors and DC motors;
Reducer: reducer is one of the three important components of industrial robots.
Function of synchronous belt transmission: commonly used between two reducers. There is no relative sliding between the pulley and the transmission belt of the synchronous belt transmission, which can ensure a strict transmission ratio.
