The torque of the micromotor is an important reference factor. There are brushless motors and brushed motors in DC motors. In the case of the same model, the force of a brushless motor is greater than that of a brushed DC motor.

From the working principle of DC motor, brushed and brushless are basically the same, the main difference is that brushed DC motor is mechanically commutated, while brushless DC motor is electronically commutated. Therefore, the force of a brushless DC motor will be greater than that of a brushed DC motor.

Features of brushless DC motors:

1. Small size, light weight and large torque;

2. Excellent torque characteristics, good torque performance at medium and low speeds, large starting torque and small current;

3. Covers the performance advantages of brushed DC motors, cancels the carbon brush structure, and has a longer service life, generally up to hundreds of thousands of hours;

4. Since there is no excitation loss and carbon brush loss, the efficiency of DC motors is much higher than that of brushed motors;

5. Stepless speed regulation can be adopted, with strong overload capacity and wide speed regulation range;

Brushless DC motors do not have a mechanical brush arrangement. It uses Hall sensors instead of brushes and commutators. The permanent magnet material is also made of NdFeB material, so the performance will be better than that of the brushed DC motor. High efficiency, low energy consumption, low noise, long life, high reliability, servo control, and stepless frequency conversion speed regulation are the core advantages of brushless DC motors.

Brushless DC motors, while better, are not as easy to control as brushed DC motors. Its control is more complicated and the cost is relatively high. Therefore, in the case that the brushless motor can meet the parameters, most people will still choose the brushed DC motor.
