Encoders can be used to determine the rotation speed and the angle of rotation. They are mainly used to determine the speed of objects and accurately position objects. For example, encoders can be used to determine the rotation speed of motors, the angle of valve rotation, and the distance moved by objects on conveyor belts... Encoders can transmit the information they determine to PLCs, and the speed, rotation speed, and accurate positioning of objects can be accurately controlled by PLCs through information processing!
Both frequency converters and reducers can change the output speed of motors, but frequency converters have adjustable functions and a wide speed adjustment range. my country's power supply uses 50Hz industrial frequency voltage. If the motor runs at low speed at 50Hz through a frequency converter, the frequency converter uses a constant torque adjustment method. The rated torque of the motor from 0 to 50Hz is the same. The high-speed operation greater than 50hz uses a constant power method. As the motor speed increases, the torque will decrease.
Reducers have only a fixed speed ratio (for example, 10:1, the motor rotates 10 times and the reducer rotates one circle), but reducers can increase the torque of the motor. In theory, the speed is reduced to 1/10 and the torque is increased 10 times, saving effort but not labor.
