The working principle of small reduction motor can be simply summarized as follows: the motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through the power supply, and reduces the speed of the motor output shaft through the reducer to increase the output torque, thereby driving the external mechanical equipment to rotate.
Specifically, the working process of small reduction motor is as follows:
1. Power input
Connect the power cord to the power input terminal of the small reduction motor, usually the positive and negative poles of the motor. After the power is input, the motor starts to work.
2. Motor rotation
After the power is input, the stator and rotor inside the motor begin to generate a magnetic field, and the magnetic field of the stator acts on the magnetic field of the rotor, causing the rotor to start rotating. The speed and direction of the rotor rotation are determined by the DC direction of the power supply and the number of coils inside the motor.
3. Reducer transmission
The speed of the motor output shaft is usually high, and it needs to be reduced by the reducer. The gear transmission inside the reducer can achieve different reduction ratios, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing the output shaft speed. The gear transmission inside the reducer requires certain lubrication and cooling, and lubricant usually needs to be added inside the reducer.
4. Output shaft rotation
The gear transmission of the reducer reduces the speed of the motor output shaft and increases the output torque, thereby driving the output shaft to rotate. The output shaft is usually a metal shaft that can be connected to external mechanical equipment to achieve different working functions.
