DC Motor Maintenance Method

In the production equipment, we have to carry out regular inspections and repairs of the equipment. This is because we have not used the equipment due to improper operation and unavoidable natural disasters during use. At this time, our maintenance personnel are required to repair the equipment to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Let's take a look at the maintenance method of the DC motor.

1. First, the maintenance personnel should check the appearance of the DC motor: whether the casing, end cover, shaft cover, etc. are broken; whether the shaft head has damaged or not; whether there is a shortage of fasteners.

2, secondly disassemble the parts and carry out dust removal treatment, centralized storage, shortage or damage requires our maintenance personnel to replace the new parts.

3. When disassembling the brush holder, we should mark the connection line, and the center position of the brush holder should also be marked by the maintenance personnel.

4. Next, disassemble the main and commutating poles of the stator. The number of gaskets and the different gaskets of each pole need to be recorded and kept by our maintenance personnel.

5. Check whether the end cover, shaft cover and fan are complete, with or without cracks, corners, etc. If it is not reliable, it should be replaced in time.

6. When the bearing of the DC motor is finally removed, the bearing to be reused should be carefully pulled out with the puller. Do not use an open flame to heat the motor. Before the motor is disassembled, the wiring diagram should be measured and marked to avoid mistakes.

Our maintenance personnel should follow the above methods to regularly repair the equipment, so as not to affect our normal work, and regular maintenance of the equipment will extend the life of the DC motor.
