Electrical Issues
• Abnormal power supply voltage: Excessively high voltage increases winding current, causing overheating or burnout; insufficient voltage reduces output torque, leading to operational failure and long-term damage.
• Current overload: Loads exceeding the motor's rated capacity raise current, intensifying heat generation and damaging windings or internal components.
• Electromagnetic interference (EMI): Strong EMI disrupts control signals, destabilizing motor operation and causing internal stress/wear over time.
Mechanical Issues
• Excessive load: Overloading beyond the motor's rated capacity deforms shafts, wears gears, and may stall the motor.
• Improper installation: Shaft misalignment between the motor and load generates excessive radial/axial forces, accelerating bearing wear or shaft fracture.
• Frequent start-stop/reversals: Repeated power cycling or directional changes stress windings and cores, degrading insulation and causing core fatigue.
Environmental Factors
• High temperature: Poor heat dissipation in hot environments elevates internal temperatures, degrading insulation and accelerating aging.
• Humidity/Corrosion: Moisture lowers insulation resistance, risking short circuits; corrosive substances erode motor components, reducing performance and lifespan.
• Dust/debris ingress: Accumulated particles block ventilation, impair cooling, and increase friction in bearings/gears, worsening wear.
