With the continuous development of science and technology, motor technology is also constantly being innovated. In particular, the industrial sector nowadays has higher expectations and requirements for the servo characteristics of electric motors, and hollow cup motors have been created.
I. Structure principle of hollow cup motor
The hollow cup motor is a structural breakthrough from the traditional rotor structure of motors, using a coreless rotor, also known as a hollow cup rotor. This rotor structure completely eliminates the loss of electrical energy caused by the formation of eddy currents in the iron core, while its weight and rotational inertia are significantly reduced, thus reducing the mechanical energy loss of the rotor itself.
Second, the structure of the hollow cup motor
The structure of the hollow cup motor consists of: back cover, terminals, brush end cover, brushes, commutator, cup winding (rotor), rotor shaft, gasket, sliding bearing, housing, magnet (stator), flange, positioning ring.
The stator consists of a permanent magnet, housing and flange. The housing provides a constant magnetic field, making the motor free of iron losses. There are no soft magnetic teeth. The torque produced is uniform and allows smooth running even at low speeds. At higher speeds, the motor reduces vibration and noise. Rotor with winding and commutator.
