Planetary gearbox transmissions have a number of features when compared to normal gear drives. The main features of planetary gearbox transmissions are as follows.

1. Small size, low mass, compact structure and high load carrying capacity. This is a common shaft due to the drive and power distribution of the planetary gearbox as well as the transmission of the central wheel and the rational application of the internal meshing gears.

2. Drive efficiency. This is due to the symmetry of the planetary gear drive structure. It is well known that there are many kinds of planetary gearboxes. The reaction forces of the split pin wheel and the rotating arm can be balanced in favour of transmission efficiency. If the selected drive type is suitable and the structure is reasonable.

3. Comparison of large drives. The drive is larger than the planetary gearbox, which still maintains the characteristics of compact structure, small size and volume, and also enables synthetic decomposition movements to achieve a variety of complex movements. As long as the type of planetary gearbox and distribution scheme is properly selected, planetary gears can be achieved through synthesis and motion decomposition, and variables can be used to obtain a large number of gear ratios.

4. The planetary gearbox uses the same planetary wheels with an even distribution of the central wheel, so that the planetary wheels and the force balance arm move simultaneously, making the planetary gearbox stable. At the same time, the teeth are added, the planetary gears move steadily, the stronger the impact resistance and vibration, the more reliable the work.
