What to pay attention to when installing the planetary gear motor

Reasonable installation, use and protection of planetary gear motors are essential to ensure the normal operation of machinery and equipment. Therefore, when installing the planetary gear motor, the following installation sequence must be strictly followed and carefully installed.

Step 1: Before installation, confirm that the motor and planetary gearbox are intact, and strictly check that the dimensions of all parts connected to the drive motor and planetary gearbox match. This refers to the dimensions between the positioning boss and shaft diameter of the drive motor flange and the positioning recess and bore diameter of the geared motor flange, as well as the cooperation metric service; wipe the dirt and burrs on the cooperation surface.

Step 2: Screw down the bolts on the process holes on the flange side surface of the planetary gear motor, rotate the input end of the gear motor so that the hexagonal screw cap is aligned with the process holes, pierce the hexagonal object, and spin the hexagonal screw loose.

Step 3: Hand-held drive motor so that the keyway on the motor shaft is perpendicular to the clamping screw on the input end hole of the planetary geared motor, and insert the shaft of the drive motor into the input end hole of the geared motor. When piercing, you need to ensure the concentricity of the two and parallel flanges on both sides. If the concentricity is different or the flanges on both sides are not parallel, it is necessary to find out the reason. In addition, in the installation process, the use of hammering is strictly prohibited, that is, the axial force or radial force of hammering can be prevented from damaging the bearings of both too much, and the suitability of both can also be judged by the installation feel. Judgment of the two cooperation concentricity and flange parallel method is that the two mutual stabbing after the two flange completely tight, the gap is the same.

Step 4: To ensure that the two flange titles are evenly stressed, drive the motor first tighten the screws, but not tighten; then gradually tighten the four fastening screws by diagonal position; finally tighten the end screws of the input end hole of the geared motor. Be sure to tighten the fastening screws of the drive motor, then tighten the input end hole of the geared motor and tighten the screws.

Note: The proper installation between the planetary geared motor and the mechanical equipment is similar to the proper installation between the geared motor and the drive motor. The point is to ensure that the output shaft of the geared motor is concentric with the input shaft of the driven part.
