1. Look at the required torque. If it exceeds the range, add a reducer. The only purpose is to increase the torque.
2. The stepper motor is an open-loop control element that converts electrical pulse signals into angular displacement or linear displacement. In the case of non-overload, the speed and stop position of the motor only depend on the frequency and number of pulses of the pulse signal, and are not affected by load changes. When the stepper driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepper motor to rotate a fixed angle in the set direction, called the "step angle". Its rotation runs step by step at a fixed angle. The angular displacement can be controlled by controlling the number of pulses to achieve the purpose of accurate positioning; at the same time, the speed and acceleration of the motor rotation can be controlled by controlling the pulse frequency, so as to achieve the purpose of speed regulation.
3. The reducer plays the role of matching the speed and transmitting torque between the prime mover and the working machine or actuator. The reducer is a relatively precise machine. The purpose of using it is to reduce the speed and increase the torque. According to the number of transmission stages, it can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage reducers; according to the shape of the gear wheel, it can be divided into cylindrical gear reducers, bevel gear reducers and conical-cylindrical gear reducers; according to the layout of the transmission, it can be divided into expansion type, split type and co-axial type reducers. The reducer is an independent component composed of gear transmission, worm transmission, gear-worm transmission enclosed in a rigid housing, and is often used as a reduction transmission device between the prime mover and the working machine. It plays the role of matching speed and transmitting torque between the prime mover and the working machine or actuator, and is widely used in modern machinery.
