The force mode of the miniature worm gear reducer:

In the gearbox of the reducer, the input bearing bears the axial forces and torques transmitted from the motor shaft. The gear on the intermediate shaft bears the torque from the input end when braking, and bears the braking torque from the output end when outputting, and bears the braking torque from the output end when braking. When braking, the gears on the output shaft bear the torque from the intermediate shaft and also bear the braking torque from the output.

Common materials and properties of reducer gearbox gears; in the gear box of the gearbox, the common material of the gear is low carbon alloy steel, and the gear of the reducer is carburized steel. The performance requirements of carburized steel are as follows.

The ability to accept carbon is very strong, and the surface can absorb a sufficient amount of carbon; the penetration rate is fast; the carbon concentration gradient is gentle; the amount of retained austenite is appropriate; hardness, strength and toughness.

Overheating sensitivity should be small. When heated at the carburizing temperature for a long time, the austenite can still maintain a fine-grained state, thereby enabling direct quenching and preventing the decline of mechanical properties after quenching due to coarse martensite grains.

There must be sufficient permeability to ensure that the core has high yield strength and toughness after quenching. In addition, mild cooling media can be used to greatly reduce the possibility of deformation and cracking of carburized parts.

Low carbon alloy steel, especially the surface of carburized layer, is not allowed to have serious band structure, coarse inclusions and cracks.

When using a micro worm gear reducer, it is usually necessary to add oil to the machine regularly, why? Reducer lubrication serves three main purposes:

An oil film is formed between the two tooth surfaces, so the metal surfaces are not in direct contact, reducing friction and increasing the life of the gear.

Eliminate frictional heat generated by gears when transmitting power and improve meshing performance.

Lubricates bearings, reduces bearing temperatures, increases speed, and extends bearing life.

During the operation of the reducer, friction and wear occur between the bearings and mechanical transmission components, which reduces the service life of the gears. We can solve this problem by adding lubricant. In addition, lubricating oil can also play the role of vibration damping, cooling, cooling, heat dissipation, rust prevention and noise reduction.
