Planetary gear reducer is also called planetary reducer, servo reducer. In the reducer family, planetary reducers are widely used in servo motors, stepping motors, DC motors and other transmission systems due to their small size, high transmission efficiency, wide reduction range, high precision and many other advantages.

  In the process of using, how do we clean the parts of the reducer? I will explain in detail below.

  1. If the planetary reducer has a coupling, first remove the coupling, remove the fixing bolt, screw the nut onto the bolt for safekeeping, and check whether the shell is broken or cracked;

  2. Check whether there are any missing bolts and other abnormal conditions. After confirming that they are correct, lift the upper shell with jack screws, hoist it and place it on the prepared backing plate;

  3. Use feeler gauge or lead wire method to measure the clearance of each bearing. Several points should be measured for each set of bearings, and records should be made. The lubricating oil in the planetary reducer is drained and stored in a special oil drum;

  4. Lift out the driving shaft and driven shaft assembly, and make a mark on the gear meshing position. Put each gear assembly on a dry wooden board and arrange it neatly to prevent bumps. Disassemble each bearing and gear;

   5. When disassembling, be careful not to damage the parts in the equipment. Clean the parts and dry them. If the parts are found to be damaged, replace them in time. Clean the bearings, box and gears with kerosene to prepare for subsequent inspections.
