How to maintain the reducer?

In order to ensure the normal operation of the motor reducer, in addition to normal use according to the operating procedures, normal monitoring and maintenance during operation, regular inspections should be carried out to maintain the motor reducer. This can eliminate some problems in time, prevent failures, and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the motor reducer. The time interval for regular maintenance can be determined according to the form of the motor reducer and the use environment. The contents of regular maintenance are as follows:
① Clean the motor reducer. Remove dust and sludge from the outside of the motor reducer base in time. If the use environment is dusty, it is best to clean it once a day.
② Check and clean the motor reducer terminal. Check whether the terminal box wiring screws are loose or burned.
③ Check the screws of each fixed part, including the anchor screws, end cover screws, bearing cover screws, etc. Tighten the loose nuts.
④ Check the transmission device, check whether the pulley or coupling has cracks or damage, whether the installation is firm; whether the belt and its coupling buckle are intact.
⑤ The starting equipment of the motor reducer should also be cleaned of external dust and dirt in time, the contacts should be wiped, and the wiring parts should be checked for burn marks and whether the grounding wire is in good condition.
⑥ Inspection and maintenance of bearings. Bearings should be cleaned and grease or lubricating oil should be replaced after a period of use. The time for cleaning and oil change should be determined according to the working condition, working environment, cleanliness and type of lubricant of the motor reducer. Generally, it should be cleaned and greased every 3-6 months of work.
