The geared motor generally needs to be wiped with a dry cloth when cleaning. If wiped with a damp cloth, water stains can easily drip into the inside of the motor, causing the machine to malfunction or short-circuit. , it will cause the machine to burn, so everyone should pay special attention to prevent water from entering the motor. Once the water enters, it needs to be dealt with in time. method.

1. Remove the fan cover of the geared motor. If a pulley is installed, remove the rear fan blade, unscrew the 6 or 8 bolts on the end cap, remove the motor's bearing end cap and spool cap, and pull on the rotor. go out.

2. Then stand the stator upright, put a 200-watt light bulb into the stator hole, and bake for 2 hours. Remember to cover the upper end of the stator when baking, so that the heat dissipation of the stator will not be too fast. If kept at 80~100℃, measure the insulation resistance of 5MΩ with a megohmmeter.

3. Try not to damage the enameled wire of the geared motor during the disassembly process. If the insulating layer of the enameled wire is damaged, you can go to the store that sells enameled wire to sell a little insulating paint and brush it dry. There's also the issue of bearings. The bearing with dust cover can be cleaned with kerosene or diesel oil, and then add the appropriate calcium-based grease. If the bearing with dust cover can be baked at a temperature of 80~100℃ for two hours, it can also be used when baking the stator. As for the bottom of the bulb, the bearing can be lightly pressed against the bulb and baked together.

4. Then clean up the sundries in the base and end cap, and gradually put them back in place. After the no-load test is completed, it can be used after confirming that there is no abnormality.

Through the above methods, the problem of water ingress of the geared motor can be well solved. In actual operation, pay attention to understand the internal structure of the motor, and carry out reasonable disassembly work to prevent damage during disassembly. After wiping off the water, pay attention to debugging the parameters of the machine, then turn it on, and make sure everything is normal before it can be put into use again.
