Disadvantages of planetary reducers:
1. The transmission ratio of planetary gear reducers is large, and the torque is smaller than that of other reduction mechanisms. The self-locking angle of planetary gear reducers is large and the back-stopping property is poor, which is not suitable for starting.
2. The structure is compact. When the helical cylindrical gear is cut with a rack-shaped tool, the number of small teeth of the standard gear without root cutting is less than that of the spur cylindrical gear, so a more compact structure can be achieved; the overlap is large.
Under the same conditions, the meshing process of the helical gear is longer than that of the spur gear, that is, the overlap is larger, which reduces the load capacity of each pair of gears, thereby improving the load-bearing capacity of the gears, extending the service life of the gears, and making the transmission smooth; the manufacturing of herringbone gears is more troublesome, the manufacturing process is complex, and the cost is high.
Planetary gear reducers are precision reduction motors with high working efficiency and applicability; planetary gear reducers are divided into small planetary gear reducers and high-power planetary reducers according to power, and are used in different fields and scenarios respectively.
