1. Because there are errors in tooth pitch, tooth shape, etc., meshing impact will be generated during operation and noise will be emitted. Friction noise will also occur due to relative sliding between tooth surfaces.
2. Gear design. Dredging ship gearbox, small overlap, improper or no tooth profile modification, unreasonable gearbox structure, etc. will all generate noise.
3. Gear processing. Noise caused by excessive base pitch error and tooth profile error, excessive tooth side clearance, excessive surface roughness, etc.
4. Gear system and gearbox. Assembly eccentricity, low contact accuracy, poor parallelism of shafts, insufficient stiffness of shafts, bearings, and supports, low rotation accuracy of bearings, and improper clearance may all cause noise.
5. Other aspects of input torque. Gearbox fluctuations, torsional vibration of the shaft system, poor balance of motors and other transmission pairs, etc. can also cause noise.
