The geared motor plays the role of matching the speed and transmitting torque between the prime mover and the working machine or the actuator, and is a relatively precise machine. However, due to the harsh working environment of the geared motor, faults such as wear and leakage often occur.

In order for a fault to occur, we must first understand what skills the geared motor has.

1. The user should have reasonable rules and regulations for use and maintenance, and carefully record the operation of the geared motor and the problems found in the inspection. In case of normal noise and other phenomena, it should be stopped, the cause must be checked, the fault must be eliminated, and the lubricating oil can be replaced before continuing to operate.

2. When changing the oil, wait for the geared motor to cool down and there is no danger of burning, but it should still be kept warm, because after cooling, the viscosity of the oil will increase, and it will be difficult to drain the oil. Note: Cut off the power supply of the drive device to prevent unintentional power-on.

3. After 200~300 hours of operation, the oil should be changed for the second time. In the future use, the quality of the oil should be checked regularly. The oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated should be replaced in time. , according to the operation of 5000 hours or once a year to replace the new oil, the gear motor that has been out of use for a long time should also be replaced with new oil before restarting. Oils of the same but different viscosities are allowed to be mixed.
