When a low-speed stepper motor is waiting for a stepping instruction, the rotor is in a stopped state. When stepping at a low speed, the speed fluctuation will be large. At this time, if it is changed to high-speed operation, the speed fluctuation problem can be solved, but the torque will be insufficient. That is, the torque will fluctuate at low speed, and the torque will be insufficient at high speed, so a reducer is needed.

The reducer is an independent component consisting of a gear transmission, worm transmission, or gear-worm transmission enclosed in a rigid housing. There are many types of reducers.
