The forward and reverse of the motor refers to the clockwise rotation and counterclockwise rotation of the motor. The clockwise rotation of the motor is the forward rotation of the motor, and the counterclockwise rotation of the motor is the reverse rotation of the motor. To realize the positive and negative rotation of the motor, it only needs to be connected to any two phase-adjusting wires in the three-phase power supply line of the motor to achieve the positive and negative rotation of the motor. .
The characteristic of the forward and reverse rotation of the motor is to add a protection circuit to the circuit, which lays the foundation for the development of industrial robots.
How to judge the forward and reverse of the motor?
Taking the three-phase AC motor as an example, when the three-phase AC motor cannot be reversed and the direction of rotation needs to be determined, three pointer multimeters can be found, set the DC voltage to a small range, and the positive test leads of the three multimeters are respectively connected to the input terminals of the motor. Rotate the motor forward with your fingers, observe the multimeter, record the order in which the pointer swings to the maximum value, position the input terminals of the motor at A\B\C in sequence, and then use the phase sequence meter to measure the phase sequence of the power supply. When the phase sequence of the power supply is consistent with the phase sequence of the input terminal of the motor, the motor must rotate forward.
